Two famous football clubs, Slavia and Bohemians, have their seats in Vrsovice.

Getting Around:
Vrsovice is well served by public transport with the closest metro lines being Flora or Zelivskeno on line A.

Places to visit:
St. Mikulas is a beautiful baroque church built in the period of 1704-1755 by Kilian Dientzenhofer. During WW2 the Czech army was stationed in this church and during this period artists were busily restoring the church. There are beautiful ceiling paintings that show scenes from the life of St Nicholas and St Benedict, and a stunning chandelier. It has been nicknamed "The Wedding Cake" as it is decorated in white stucco and is a textbook example of Prague baroque architecture. The church is also a concert venue during the summer, and houses the organ that W.A. Mozart played whilst in Prague.
