Strasnice is located in a eastern suburb of Prague 10, which is off the tourist track and borders with the expensive Vinoradhy residential area. It is approximately 12 minutes to reach the centre by metro. Amongst the most important buildings is counted Trmal's villa from 1902, by Jan Kotěra, and the population of Strašnice is approximately 37,000.
