Location: Soller is about half an hour's drive from Palma Airport, and has good connections with its railway, tram and bus services. The permanent guardian of Soller is the "Puig Mayor", the highest mountain in Mallorca at 1,445 metres.

General Information: The natural charm of some of the most beautiful coastline of the island, the traditions of a small fishing harbour and the magnificience of the mountain peaks wich rise up to challenge the Mediterranean provide visitors with a holiday surrounded by beauty and entertainment.
Where to go: A wander around the town can be a fascinating experience, with houses dating back to the 14th century and earlier. Of note are the parish church of Saint Bartholomew in the main square, together with the bank next door, Ca'n Prunera and Carrer de Sa Lluna. Soller is perfumed with orange blossom and produces the most delicious oranges in all the country. In the well looked after town, you can see the results of the towns peoples pride of their homes, seeing who can take the most care of their houses, with many of the entrances full of fresh flowers.
Beaches: There is a major stream which separates the commercial area of the port from the beach known as Platja d'en Repic. This beach is long (1100 metres) and very narrow (13 metres), and is mainly a very light, shingle beach. The usual attractions are available, such as sun beds, pedalos and first aid, and you there are boat trips available from this beach.
Attractions: On the northwest coast you will find Puerto de Soller. It used to be an important fishing port and had a large export of oranges, mainly to France. Now it is a tourist resort for those that like a quiet vacation. Due to the high mountains surrounding the area Soller for years had little communication with the rest of the island, thus developing an atmosphere of its own.
