the village of Santa Coloma was built many centuries ago around one of the most important churches of the Principality - the Church of Santa Coloma. The village itself has, over the years, expanded along the main street, but the houses in the old quarter have been preserved in their original states.

The church at Santa Coloma is one of the oldest churches in Andorra. Originally built in the pre-Romanesque style, it has undergone various alterations over the centuries.
