When visitors enter Andorra by crossing the Spanish frontier, this is their first contact with the Principality; its main tourist product are big shopping centres, although there are also great landscapes to be found and a striking series of churches and small chapels.
A minute of History: Historically, Sant Julià has been the centre of the tobacco industry, one of the most important in Andorra, and it contains the villages of Aixirivall, Aixovall, Auvinyà, Bissisarri, Certers, Fontaneda, Juberri, Llumeneres, Nagol, and Sant Julià de Lòria.
Events: This parish has carefully maintained its folklore, and on the day of the Village Festival dancers perform the Ball of the Marratxa, in which two men wearing top hats ornamented with multicoloured ribbons dance together with three ladies each
