This neighbourhood, in Prague 4, centres around the action at Namesti Bratri Synkou, which has many restaurants and Czech pubs within walking distance, and serves as a crossroads for a lot of public transportation.
Approximately 2 kilometres south of the city centre, the area stretches out to Belehradska, a major street that intersects I.P.Pavlova. Its proximity to the city centre is the area's biggest advantage and has a good selection of restaurants, although for more varied nightlife you will need to venture into the city centre.
Where to go: Nusle Bridge spans a valley just to the south of the city centre going out from Prague to Brno. On one end you can see the Corinthia Towers Hotel and on the other the Congress Centre. Impressively, the metro actually runs inside the bridge underneath the road.
Getting Around: The area has a regular bus and tram service, and the closest metro station is Prazskeno povstani on line C, although this is not that close-by.
