Lido di Jesolo is a simply stunning part of Italy, near to Venice in the north-eastern part of Italy. A haven for beach lovers, sports enthusiasts (particularly water of course!), the Jesolo beach has 15 kilometres of pure golden sands, and is roughly 40 kilometres from both Venice and Treviso. With an interesting history, dating back to the Roman Empire, it was frequented by merchants in their journeys to the lagoon on their way to the great fortress of Aquileia. Thousand of visitors flock to the area, with many visiting the greenery and valleys, Lido di Jesolo combines modern facilities and entertainment whilst still retaining its identity and natural beauty, something which many holiday resorts struggle to maintain.

Getting There:
For visitors coming from Milano or Brennero take highway A4, after the freeway in Mestre, take the exit for Airport Tessera/Jesolo. For those coming from Tarvisio, Udine and Trieste: from highway A4, exit Noventa di Pave. Jesolo is well-connected by bus from other parts of Italy, the nearest station being Piazza Drago.

Beaches:
Think traditional, think ice cream, think fun! Jesolo's ultra long beach offers a plethora of sports, leisure, restaurants and fine, golden sands where many visitors spend their days. A Blue Flag award-winning beach, where the quality and safety of the beach and waters is guaranteed.

Art and Culture:
Throughout the year, Lido di Jesolo is crammed with special events to enjoy and also use your grey matter. Many exhibitions, open-air concerts, pop music events and pro-level sports events are held here, so you will always find something to do- the only problem is fitting it all in!

Lido di Jesolo is great for families with many hundreds of leisure facilities, amusements and a large, clean and safe beach to enjoy. The funfair will certainly keep the kids occupied! Many shops are open until late at night and you can surely find almost anything your heart desires, from a cheerful souvenir to designer boutique shopping. Also an interesting area for people who want to explore the art and culture of Veneto and the local towns.

Weather:
The weather is usually very mild, reaching good temperatures of around 30 - 32 degrees in summer, with a gentle ocean breeze to cool you down.

Sports:
The Pista Azzurra is a go-kart track built in 1961 and has an 80,000 square metre surface and is to this day one of the most important tracks in the world. Leisure:
Aqualandia had the world's largest water slide, and a variety of flumes, pools and tropical surroundings to ensure a fun day out for all the family. Mum and dad can relax by the huge central pool, and enjoy the variety of bars and restaurants and other surprises- did anyone say bungee....?! Nightlife:
Nightlife here is amongst some of the best in Europe, full of colour, flavour and new sounds. A truly international experience, you can listen to beats from around the world, and be as lively or as low-key as you wish. Locals and visitors tend to dress smartly, so hang the expense and dress to impress. Jesolo's lighthouse beach holds many open-air discos, with many world-class DJ's entertaining the trendy crowd. ll Muretto nightclub in via Roma Destra 120 is a popular haunt, playing a variety of european house music and the occasional playlist from the US and beyond.

Gastronomy:
All kinds of restaurants are available here, and it goes without saying that the local seafood is something you must experience during your stay. There is a focus on simple dishes, expertly prepared and reflecting the proud Venetian gastronomic tradition. Meat dishes, vegetable and mushroom specialities are also featured strongly in the local cuisine.
