Situated on the slopes of the mountain, descending towards the sea, Illetes is a combination of tourist resort and residential area. Because of its location, very near the city of Palma de Mallorca and the airport, this is one of the most popular areas for holding large events such as congress and conventions.
General Information:
Errol Flyn first brought the Hollywood aura of glamour to Illettes. He was followed by other stars such as Rita Hayworth, Johnny Halliday, Ruben Dario, Richard Nixon and King Al-Saud of Saudi Arabia have all given the area their seal of approval over the years.
Where to go:
The pretty Illettes beaches, Cala Contesa, Cala Brogit, and Bendinat Cove, are the best places in the area for swimming, diving and generally enjoying yourself in the sun.

The hotel accommodation in Illettes, is one of the most select on the island. Its proximity to the city of Palma makes this area very popular as a venue for international events.
