Although only about 15 kilometres north of Playa de las Americas, Playa Paraiso is another sun-worshippers paradise but with a very different personality. Like is neighbour Los Gigantes, the resort offers stunning vistas of the volcano sculpted scenery. Although a popular resort, it still manages to retain a strong spanish flavour which is evident in the distinctive shopping areas. Nightlife here is limited to a few shops, bars and restaurants, which is ideal for those who want a little bit of culture from their holiday.
