Where to go:
The Old Town at the heart of Benidorm is an evocative maze of cobbled streets and inviting establishments to drink and shop in. With its blue-domed church and white houses, it manages to retain its character amongst the forest of tower blocks to the east and west. If you coincide your visit with one of the 50 festivals which take place it wil be a truly magical experience.

Sound as a pound day long relaxed bar with music 21:00 til midnight Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. Drinks so cheap you'll almost think you are stealing, but if Guinness, Blackthorn and the indomitable San Miguel aren't your cup of tea, have a coffee for a euro.
Getting Around:
Take a trip on the Lemon Express which will take you on a 48 kilometre rail journey from Benidorm through Altea, Calpe, Benissa and Teulada to Gata de Gorgos. It's a scenic route through the hilly countryside, and the accompanying guides will ensure you see all there is to see en route.
Local Market:
Enjoy a root and rummage round at the outdoor market on Wednesdays and Sunday mornings. Expect to find good (and the odd not so good) leather goods, shoes, tablecloths. Located near the Hotel Pueblo.
Good for treasure, trinkets, jewellery and junk, you'll find almost everything at El Cisne flea market, which is held every Sunday, and one Saturday per month. Located where the by-pass meets the old N-332 in the direction of Alfas del Pi.
Attractions:
Terra Mitica Ancient civilisations theme park, legends and heroes is where legend and myth meet the very latest high tech rides and attractions, with lots of speed, excitement and thrills in the bargain too. Very close to Benidorm centre, Terra Mitica is a popular attraction for those who love white-knuckle rides, but don’t worry there are some tamer ones for those who want to feel a little less wobbly at the end of the day.
